​​​The Rocket City Curling Club is excited to host our first-ever Odds and Ends bonspiel, Friday, July 24 - Sunday, July 26, 2026.

The Odds and Ends Bonspiel is a fun, members-only RCCC event designed for individual curlers and pairs. Full-team registration is not allowed for this event. Instead, you may sign up as an individual or with one partner, and after registration we will assemble teams of four from the registered players.

 

This bonspiel is taking place at the same time the RCCC is hosting the GNCC Arena Playdowns. Since many of our club’s most competitive players will be playing in that event, and since the playdowns will not use all of the available ice time, we are using the extra ice to create a fun bonspiel just for RCCC members.

 

When forming teams, we will do our best to make the teams as evenly matched as possible. That means we will try to balance experience levels by pairing newer curlers with more experienced curlers where we can. There are no guarantees, but the goal is to create fair, fun games for everyone.

 

Games will run throughout the day on Friday and Saturday, with additional games on Sunday morning. Every team is guaranteed at least three games, and teams that do well may play as many as five games over the weekend.

Most importantly, this bonspiel is just for fun. We want as many RCCC members as possible to experience the bonspiel atmosphere, enjoy playing with different people, and get a taste of what makes these events so much fun. Our hope is that once members get the bonspiel bug, they will be excited to travel to other bonspiels in the future.
