Thanks to everyone who made our Third-Annual Brad Forrest Classic such a success! And mark your calendars for our Fourth-Annual even, currently scheduled to take place on June 10, 2023.

 

This event is a one-day bonspiel open only to members of the Rocket City Curling Club. The winner gets the first choice of open championships to represent our club at an upcoming bonspiel.

The Brad Forrest Classic is named after the man, the myth, the legend: Brad Forrest. He is a curler from Manitoba, and is a fine craftsman who made our beloved shot rock, a wooden curling stone made from zebra wood. We received the stone as a gift when our rink manager went to Wilmington, NC when our club was just forming, and it remains our club's most prized possession.

Sign-ups will be on a first-come, first-served basis.  We anticipate being able to accept 8 to 16 teams.

There is a three-game minimum guarantee. Cost is $240 per team.
